About

Helping Muslim women grow in faith, confidence, self-worth and purpose.

Emerging Muslimah was created from a simple belief:

A woman can be deeply rooted in her faith while still growing, healing, discovering herself and pursuing a meaningful life.

There are seasons when we feel spiritually disconnected, emotionally exhausted, unsure of ourselves or uncertain about where our lives are heading.

Sometimes we simply need a space to pause.

To reflect.

To reconnect with Allah.

To understand ourselves a little better.

And to remember that becoming doesn’t happen all at once.

It happens slowly, intentionally and with Allah at the centre.

Why Emerging Muslimah?

Emerging Muslimah is a space for Muslim women who are navigating the beautiful and sometimes difficult process of becoming.

Here, we explore the places where faith and everyday life meet.

We talk about:

🌙 Faith — reconnecting with Allah and nurturing our spiritual lives.

🤍 Healing — understanding our emotions, rebuilding self-worth and moving through difficult seasons.

🌸 Becoming — developing confidence, identity, boundaries and personal growth.

🎯 Purpose — discovering our strengths, setting meaningful goals and creating lives that matter.

✨ Legacy — learning from the Prophets, Sahabiyat, Sahabah, scholars and remarkable Muslims who came before us.

This isn’t about becoming perfect.

It’s about becoming more intentional.

A Little About Me

I’m Zetoon, the founder of Emerging Muslimah.

I’ve created this space because I know that becoming the woman you want to be isn’t always a straight path. There are seasons of confidence and seasons of doubt. Seasons where your faith feels strong and seasons where you have to find your way back. Seasons where you know exactly where you’re going and seasons where you’re simply trying to figure out your next step.

And I’ve come to believe that all of those seasons can teach us something.

My own journey has taught me the importance of faith, reflection, resilience, self-awareness and continually learning.

I’ve also become deeply interested in the intersection between Islam, emotional wellbeing, personal growth and purpose—particularly how we can grow without adopting the idea that we constantly have to hustle, achieve or become someone else.

What I Believe

🌙 Faith is our foundation.

Our relationship with Allah isn’t something we put aside while we work on ourselves. It is part of the journey.

🌱 Growth doesn’t have to be loud.

You don’t need to transform your entire life overnight.

Small, consistent steps matter.

🤍 Healing isn’t weakness.

Acknowledging what hurts, understanding ourselves and seeking healthy support can be part of becoming stronger.

🌸 Your worth isn’t determined by your achievements.

You are more than your job, appearance, relationship status, income or productivity.

🎯 Purpose looks different for every woman.

Your purpose isn’t necessarily one grand calling. Sometimes it is found through the way you worship, work, serve, love, learn and contribute.

✨ We don’t have to grow alone.

There is something powerful about women encouraging women, sharing wisdom and reminding one another of what matters.
